The daughter of a realtor and entrepreneur, Gretchen grew up in a small town in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hamilton College and, upon graduating in 1998, moved to Jamaica Plain. Gretchen became fascinated with the real estate market while living in Roslindale and Jamaica Plain and coaching women’s collegiate sports. Upon receiving her Master’s degree in Dispute Resolution and Negotiation from the University of Massachusetts, Gretchen decided to put her skills to work in real estate.

Gretchen loves helping clients find the right home to meet their needs and is skilled at walking them through the buying and selling process. Gretchen also has an expertise in assisting first-time homebuyers navigate the process while avoiding common pitfalls. Gretchen has an extensive network of professionals ready to assist her clients, from mortgage brokers to roofing contractors!

Gretchen prides herself on being accessible, honest, low-key and hard-working. Her clients’ needs are always paramount. Buying or selling a home can be extremely stressful and Gretchen has a great sense of humor that helps to put others at ease.

Gretchen lives in Needham with her wife and two (devilish) daughters. She regularly assists clients with the transition from urban to suburban living.
